About

Egmont Mayer grew up both in Germany and China. After his graduation in Munich he got training in digital post production for both video and print. Reluctant to abandon his affection for character animation he applied at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
After having done two stop motion films and some visual effects projects, Red Rabbit is his latest computer-animated short film. He is currently working freelance on commercials and image films and is founding member of SHAPE-Berlin, a creative collective combining both animation an design.

Kimmy is addicted to music. Battered by the lack of understanding for his disability he manages to meet Mimmy who turns out to have special powers…

Truck driver Olav meets the girl of his dreams, only to find out that what brought them together is what tears them apart…

“Red Rabbit”(2007)
8 min 3D computer animation, output to Film
Life together with his giant rabbit in a small apartment… It is apparent, that the situation has become unbearable. The frustration and isolation lead to delusion and weird reactions towards the nosy Neighbour.
